Home again, home again

Jiggety Jig!

What a weekend. We had a GREAT time. Visited my sister in Wisconsin Rapids area. We left Thursday and felt like storm chasers. More on that another time. It was a wonderful visit even though it was short. We left there and headed to Waukesha Friday morning.

On the way we stopped at Wisconsin Dells and walked around for about an hour. It was fun and we reminisced about going there early in our marriage. We believe that both our kids may have been conceived there (I know, TOO MUCH INFORMATION for some of you) so we didn't spend too much time there! Hee Hee.

Friday evening the boys (Gary and his brothers and their friends Mark and Diane) practiced for the gig they were doing on Saturday. It was fun to hear their voices and just to be together again.

Saturday morning we went out to see my brother and see the house he and his wife are building. It is very neat and maybe I'll do another blog just on that short visit as it is a good story and I have pictures!

Saturday the concert at Gary's parent's apartment complex (independent senior living community) was really a BLAST! 50-60 seniors rocking out, dancing, drinking and having a really good time. They all want the band to come back. Gary's parent's were the two happiest people in the room. I video taped it and I sure hope it turns out okay. I met a man who was in the same division Gary's dad was in WWII. It was really interesting meeting and talking with these wonderful people.

Then Sunday we got up said goodbye and got on the road again. Now we're are back home and I'm very tired so this post is done.
