Joy

I'm reading a book by Jill Briscoe called "Heart Cry". She has a poem in it that I just have to share:

Living to love Him,

Dying to please Him

Sure to obey Him,

Loving to serve Him

Wanting to share Him

Longing to meet Him --

My soul singing in the rain

Dancing to the beat of His heart.

That's it! That's what life is about!

Feeling lost? Do you have a God-shaped hole in your life? Maybe you are looking for joy in all the wrong places. I know I tend to do that. This short poem is a reminder to me about where true and lasting joy can be found. I hope you find it a reminder to you too.
